Black Label represents the pinnacle of Asteri craft. Rare, expressive coffees sourced in micro-quantities, refined with precision, and released only when they reach their highest expression.
These are coffees selected not for a number, but for character: clarity, depth, aromatic complexity, and a sense of place that cannot be replicated. Some come from competition lots. Some from experimental processes. Some from tiny harvests that will never exist again.
Black Label is not defined by a score. It is defined by expression.
Each release is numbered, documented, and treated as a study in flavour integrity. From green preservation to roast profiling to brew-method optimisation.

Cupping scores help us identify coffees with potential, clarity, sweetness, structure, and balance. But they are not the final measure of luxury.
Asteri uses scoring as a guide, not a definition.
Luxury coffee is not created by a number. It is created by: provenance, rarity, processing integrity, green preservation, roast precision, flavour stability, expression in the cup, and the emotional experience it creates.
Some Black Label coffees may score 86. Some 88. Some 90+. But the score is never the reason they are chosen. They are chosen because they speak.
