From the farm

Piendamó, Cauca · Finca El Paraíso

Producer · Diego Bermúdez · Finca El Paraíso

Finca El Paraíso sits high in Cauca, Colombia, where careful variety selection and technical control shape every lot. The team prioritises precise cherry sorting and small‑lot handling, pairing traditional agronomy with engineered drying techniques to protect fragile aromatics. Their experimental approach — including zeodration — is not novelty for its own sake but a tool to dial clarity and sweetness. The result is tightly managed, process‑led coffee that showcases the estate’s terroir and meticulous post‑harvest practices.

Origin notes

Finca El Paraíso is one of Colombia's most innovative specialty coffee farms, known for precision processing, rare varieties and highly distinctive cup profiles. Located in Cauca, the farm has built its reputation around technical control: careful cherry selection, advanced drying methods and a deep understanding of how process can shape flavour. Pink Bourbon ZEO is part of that modern approach. The ZEO process uses zeodration, a controlled drying technique aided by zeolites, to help preserve aromatic compounds and protect the clarity of the coffee. Rather than relying on heavy fermentation, this coffee is designed to express brightness, floral sweetness and clean fruit character with precision. In the cup, Pink Bourbon ZEO is vivid and elegant, with floral aromatics, caramel, plum and nectar-like sweetness. It is a rare Colombian coffee for drinkers who want something modern, bright and beautifully composed.

Good to know

Questions before you brew

Whole beans stay fresher for longer because grinding exposes more surface area to oxygen. If you own a burr grinder, always pick beans and grind just before you brew. Choose ground only if you don't have a grinder at home. When you pick ground, tell us the brew method (espresso, filter, cafetière, AeroPress, moka) and we grind El Paraíso Pink Aurora to the exact particle size for that method.
