From the farm
Yirgacheffe, Gedeo Zone
Producer · Smallholder farmers delivering to Aricha Washing Station
These coffees come from smallholder producers in Aricha, within Yirgacheffe’s Gedeo Zone, cultivated at 1,900–2,100 metres. Farmers deliver ripe cherries to Aricha Washing Station where lots are sorted and dried naturally on raised beds under close supervision. The region’s substantial rainfall and varietal diversity of heirloom landraces produce dense cherries that benefit from careful sun-drying and selective picking during the November–January harvest window.

Good to know
Questions before you brew
Whole beans stay fresher for longer because grinding exposes more surface area to oxygen. If you own a burr grinder, always pick beans and grind just before you brew. Choose ground only if you don't have a grinder at home. When you pick ground, tell us the brew method (espresso, filter, cafetière, AeroPress, moka) and we grind Yirgacheffe Aricha, Natural to the exact particle size for that method.
